Ho frequentato il corso alla Proba per 3 mesi, facendo sia il corso di gruppo che le lezioni individuali. Sono pienamente soddisfatta della mia esperienza in Russia e ho finito il mio percorso raggiungendo una maggiore padronanza della lingua che prima non avevo. Gli insegnanti sono bravissimi e trasmettono motivazione e passione. Oleg, direttore dell’istituto, è persona disponibile e attenta e viene incontro ad ogni richiesta dello studente. Consiglio vivamente questa scuola! Anche la posizione in cui si trova è perfetta, proprio nel centro della città.

I’ve been taking online Russian language lessons with ProBa only a few months now and highly recommend the program they have created. Director Oleg and teacher Julia are truly caring professionals. I’ve tried several other programs with other schools around Russia and if you truly wish to learn Russian, they have the best program.

Our 17-year-old daughter, went three weeks to study at this school. The school is well organised, both for individual and group lessons. The director, Mr Oleg, an exquisite person who is very attentive to the needs of the students. The family, recommended by Mr Oleg with whom our daughter was staying, very good and the house was close to the school, within walking distance. Mrs Marina, the landlady, a very kind and attentive lady. Everything beautiful and well done. Thank you Oleg and thank you Marina!

My course in Proba was very personalized. I had very good and active teachers; theory and practical cases were perfectly mixed. I had two teachers: Julia and Svetlana. Julia is wise and very well organized. Svetlana is active, full of energy, focused on objectives. I passed my B2 residence test!!! Proba is very good academy. Good central location, fast visa support. I really enjoyed every day and lesson. I realized my objective; I felt very comfortable and very good interacted. Whole personnel is nice, kind and professional. Teachers really understand what you need and help you. Thank you, I am very happy.

I think I improved my Russian, in particular communication skills, and I am very satisfied. Russian Speaking Club on Tuesday is Amazing!!!! This is great idea to give us possibilities for speaking and invite friends for dialogues. My Russian teacher Julia is great, I really liked her teaching methods, and in particular I liked that she let us talk a lot because we really need it. She explains very clearly. With my second teacher Maria we did a lot of grammatic and we also read a lot, that was really good.

Thank you guys for everything: for the good organization, for the effective teaching and for the support. I'll stay with you with online lessons until my next trip. 😊😊😊

Thanks to the school administration for the fast visa support (hi Oleg))). Russian classes are very effective, teachers are friendly! There were four students in our A2 group. Good location: the very center of the city, easy to get to cultural places. In addition to group classes, I had individual lessons. I will come next year!

I highly recommend this school! If you love the wonderful Russian language and St. Petersburg, or if you want to get in touch with both, this is the right place for you! In addition to the lessons, there are also activities such as speaking clubs or creative activities (e.g. painting a Russian Matrioshka). The atmosphere in the school is very open and everyone is very motivated. You also get the best help and support at all times with questions of all kinds, e.g. when it comes to formalities, finding a room, everyday or leisure activities. The location is a big plus: the school is located in the beautiful Rubinsteina Street in the heart of St. Petersburg. It is easily accessible by all means of transportation. So you can fully immerse yourself in the Russian language and culture!

I think it’s a scam, so be careful they want me to pay the whole payment before i even come and see the institute, not just that the payment is in different country, so yeah if you have to go there I recommend you to check the institute before you pay anything!

We have just finished a 2 weeks intensive Russian course in this language school and we are very happy with the results! I took 1:1 lessons, my children shared 2:1 lesson. In the price of the course teaching materials are included. They assess your starting level and design tailor-made program, according to your specific needs. My children had the chance to learn the fundamentals very quickly and now that we are heading home we know that we have books and notes to review. I studied Russian 20 years ago and, thanks to my teacher, could refresh my grammar skills and had real fun chatting. We found great organization and a very friendly environment. What's more, the school director helps with a lot of practical matters that can be difficult for foreigners. I highly appreciated this! So thank you Oleg for all and hope to see you and your school again soon!

I can only say the best about ProBa. i went there for 2 sessions of à few weeks. VERY good teachers. the atmosphere of the school is very friendly too. like most studients there, i made friends, so i didnt feel alone at the beginning of my staying, and by sharing their expérience in the country they made all my red tape easier.

I experienced four very delightful weeks at ProBa. Through the school I also found accommodation and I found myself very supported during the whole organizing process beforehand. Having previously studied Russian only on my own the language lessons gave me the structure I needed. I got along very well with my teacher and I can't wait to go back!

Ich hatte zwei sehr intensive und lehrreiche Wochen an der Schule gehabt. Der Schulleiter und die Lehrerin sind sehr freundlich und es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Coronabedingt waren wir sogar nur max. 3 Schüler, manchmal ich auch nur alleine. Ich kann jedem diese Schule empfehlen, der seine Russischkenntnisse vertiefen möchte. Ich habe bereits ein fortgeschrittenes Niveau und bin der Meinung, dass ich dort noch einiges dazu gelernt habe.

I just completed 8 weeks of one-on-one language study at ProBa in order to take some language qualification exams in Russian. I passed thanks to ProBa and the excellent teachers there ! ProBa and the teachers were excellent and highly flexible as far as scheduling, and I would recommend them highly to anyone looking to study Russian in St. Petersberg. I had previously studied at a University in St. Petersberg, and feel that the one-on-one or small groups study at ProBa will advance your Russian much more effectively than study in a larger group.

This was the experience of a lifetime. All the teachers are thoughtful, passionate and engaging. Financially this was a more viable option than my local university, with similar curriculum and more cultural immersion. Everyone at Pro Ba Russian Language school is passionate about their profession and teaching Russian. I can’t wait to return to Saint Petersburg one day.

Highest recommendation for anyone wanting to study Russian in St. Petersburg. My college-aged daughter spent 7 weeks studying at ProBa in summer 2018. She arrived after having finished 2nd yr college Russian in the USA. She said that the school's highest level class was a slight reach for her, but they accommodated her and she made tremendous progress, largely because of the excellent teacher. She would like to return this summer. The only problem was that the classroom was too hot in the summer - needs effective air conditioning - and I'm sure that the school will have this functioning and in use for next summer.

Mon fils à suivi cet été les cours de russe chez Proba pendant 3 semaines. Il est revenu en ayant fait beaucoup de progrès. Toute l'équipe a été attentive à ce que son séjour soit profitable et se passe bien depuis l'accueil à l'aéroport jusqu'à son départ. Les tarifs proposés sont attractifs. L'école est parfaitement situé au cœur de la ville. Nous avons été parfaitement accompagné par l'école pour obtenir le visa. Très bonne école.

I spent two weeks taking Russian classes at ProBa Russian Language Center and I am very satisfied with the result. The teaching is very good, intense and demanding but the teachers are kind, very positive and motivating, even when it is very difficult. All the staff is ready to help, answering questions about the city or what can be done outside of class. I also liked the guided tours in Russian organized by the school: they make you feel you progress and that all the efforts are not in vain.

My two-week stay in June this year in S. Peterburg Proba Language Center was useful, fun and revitalizing. With excellent and friendly teachers i didn't feel like a stranger, moreover, immersing every day more and more into the Russian language and the atmosphere of socializing at Proba L.C., the only thing I can say is, " Thank you Proba and seeU next year"!

The wealth of learning a foreign language, culture, and history is so attainable at this wonderful school. As an American, it has changed my perceptions greatly. I love Russia and Russian people. I have a great respect and appreciation that has made me a better man.
