Я прошла легендарный курс для преподавателей РКИ у Станислава Чернышова, и сказать, что я довольна, значит ничего не сказать. Это просто восторг!!! Аналогов курсу на данный момент не существует. Подойдёт как для опытных, так и самых начинающих преподавателей. Никакой "воды", всё самое важное и нужное в чистом виде. У меня был минимальный опыт преподавания, но уже после первого вебинара появилось понимание, как проводить первый урок. Очень много благодарности Станиславу и Алле, которые щедро делятся своим мастерством. Они дают не только знания и инструменты, но и учат особому способу мышления, который можно применять и в преподавании других языков. Тёплая атмосфера, а под конец практически семейная.

Уникальный курс для преподавателей РКИ, благодаря Станиславу и Алле, я по-новому взглянула на такие концептуальные вещи как «вид глагола» и «глаголы движения». Stanislav est un merveilleux professeur : extrêmement clair, très pédagogue et d'une très agréable jovialité. Il sait encourager les étudiants, leur donner confiance pour parler. De plus, on apprend énormément sur la culture et la littérature russes. Un vrai régal !

I just returned from a week of 'total immersion' classes and cannot recommend 'Extra Class' highly enough. Having had instruction (both in Russian as well as other languages) with various other schools and being in a position to make a comparison, Extra Class is better in almost every aspect. The quality and the methodology of the teaching; the attention to detail; the willingness to use varying techniques; the ability to broach and explain difficult concepts in different manners, were all exceptional. I was at Extra Class 3 times now and will return for more, every experience was better than the one before. The teachers are excellent and very experienced. The school has good facilities and a range of good options to stay in St Pet. If you really want to learn Russian and understand the language go to this school, you will not be sorry for choosing it!

In late october 2019 I (64 years young, ski instructor) have studied at this school for two weeks. The progress made exceeded my expectations by far. I look forward to teach our russian gests this winter. The teachers are excellent and the groups surprisingly small. The family I stayed with was just outstanding. Thank you all, we will meet again next year!!!!!

I studied in this school during more than 8 months. It is by far the best language school in town! Teachers are adorable and passionate: Nina, Vladimir or Katya. Their teaching methods are efficient and they will always help you to increase your level. I highly recommend it!!

I had amazing 2 months in St. Petersburg learning Russian with Extra Class! Very professional staff and Mr. Vladimir Kuznetsov was the best teacher ever! Without the help of Alla Chernyshova this would have never been possible for me!

Great school with professional teachers. Very recommendable, after a week I experienced a significant progress in my speaking abilities.

I had only 4 days to enjoy lessons within the class as well as private lessons and am extremely pleased about the progress of my Russian, especially with respect to grammar and conversation. Furthermore, Learn Russian organized my airport transfers, my wonderful host family and even cultural events such as visits to museums.

Great school. In four weeks I learnt more than in one year at university. The teachers and staff took great care of me and offered extra class activities. I would love to come back soon!

I had stayed in St. Petersburg for 3 weeks. There I had attended the individual classes for 30 hours a week to prepare to TRKI. And back home in Austria I took online lessons to prepare to the certificate of Pushkin Institute in Vienna. Nina did an amazing job both times. I passed the exams with very good grades in all categories. The organisation, the team and the teaching methods are excellent! The focus on speaking makes the lessons highly effective! See you soon in 2019 to take TRKI at the next level!

Extra class is a cosy little language lesson center with a warm atmosphere. They are very flexible with their options, you can participate in full-day courses, or just take a couple of hours per week like I did. Prices are not too bad either! A warm recommondation from me.

I spent a week at Extra Class after the school was recommended to me by my Russian teacher in London, who said that Stanislav's approach to the language was excellent. I was thrilled with the recommendation as the teaching I received from Katia was brilliant. Both her and Aliona helped me with all my preparations for the TKRI exam at the University, and I not only passed but received my highest mark of 94 in the oral exam! I also had time to visit both the Hermitage and Russian State Museum and Katia was an informative and cultured guide. Thank you all so much and I can't wait to take more classes in 2019.

EXTRA CLASS es una muy buena Academia para aprender Ruso. Los profesores son muy profesionales y tanto Stanislav como Alla, han creado un método muy eficiente, pautado y sumamente flexible para que cada estudiante aprenda a su propio ritmo. La organización de la estancia en famílias locales de Sant Petersburgo, o la recogida y llevada al aeropuerto, son otros de los aspectos de gran valor añadido que merece una felicitación especial.

I had an overall great experience in this school! The host family I was assigned to was the best part: young, caring, always available... we're still in touch after 3 months😊 Alla, my first teacher, taught me so many things in our 2 weeks together, almost comparable to 1 year of lessons in Italy. I also had lessons with Maria, great for speaking exercises! The only minus was the little time given to sign up for the school's organised excursions and the fact that the school offered only 1/2 every week.

After trying to learn Russian with several different teachers and schools, I found Learn Russian. They have an original, fun, super dynamic way of learning Russian. I have dispensed with the dusty books and dull grammar charts and found myself speaking very quickly and engaging in conversational topics I thought were years away. This is a really stand out approach and school

During my two-week stay in Saint-Petersburg, I have attended the group classes for 20 hours a week and I have been pleased with the dedication of the staff and the cost-efficiency of the lessons delivered! All is done here to help you immersing in the lifestyle and culture of the imperial capital. I recommend this course to anybody wanting to begin learning Russian or resolute about improving their command of the Russian language, whatever their level. These two weeks in Saint-Petersburg have been highly profitable. I spent almost 3 month at that language school. When I came, I did not know any Russian, not even the Cyrillic alphabet and at the end I was able to follow simple every day conversations. In this school you do a lot of practice and you first learn all the phrases and vocabulary you really need while living in a Russian city. So you could use everything, you have learned, right after school. The lessons were well prepared, rich in variety and were depending on the students’s needs and intrests. Not only the method and the worksheets were really helpful, but also the teachers were excellent. They not just teach you grammar, but also the Russian culture, way of life and mentality and all this in a entertaining way, so that you will not forget it anymore. The school itself is located in the city centre and the classrooms are not too big. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and during break, you can chat with people from all over the world and for sure with Italians. They offer also some afternoon acitivities such as guided city tours in simplified Russian, museum tours or painting your own matrioshkas. The activities were always very interesting, but you have to pay extra. I would recommend this school to everyone, who wants to study Russian language and get to know the culture and the people. When you have any further question, feel free to ask the school’s secretary. She is the best and will help you with everything. I really enjoyed every single lesson and will for sure return in the near future.

Had an excellent first session here! The teachers are bright and engaging, and more than that, quite energetic, and driven to deliver. I very much look forward to further training at Extra Class, as I now live in Russia.

I liked so much this school that I decided to stay 9 months instead of 3. Excellent teachers (highly qualified and with a lot of experience), very good organization, nice people and small groups to improve faster and feel at home. Highly recommended!!

The brilliant teachers and small class sizes made for an excellent learning environment during my three weeks at Extra Class. The group course emphasized speaking and listening skills, which was exactly what I wanted on my trip to Saint Petersburg after having studied grammar and writing/reading skills for 1.5 years in English-speaking countries. Though students in my intermediate group class came from different countries and had had slightly different exposure to the Russian language, the teachers made sure everyone could follow and participate in the classes. The teachers also did an excellent job choosing discussion topics on culture, philosophy, and current events that were genuinely interesting and well-suited to the students’ levels of vocabulary -- I was surprised that I actually had the vocabulary to talk about topics deeper than listing the school supplies in my backpack, and this certainly boosted my confidence in speaking Russian. I learned a tremendous amount and was most impressed by Alla’s simple and effective method of teaching motion verbs and verbal aspect, two of the most difficult parts of Russian grammar for me. Additionally, I was very happy with my host family arrangement and the staff at the school was extremely attentive to any lodging or transport issues that came up. The staff also organized fun afternoon activities like museum visits, matryoshka doll painting, and an evening boat tour, and helped students purchase opera and ballet tickets. I definitely recommend this language school and look forward to my next visit there!

I spent three months studying Russian at Extra Class with several of their exceptional teachers, including the school's founder, Stanislav. I traveled to Saint Petersburg with the express purpose of learning to speak fluently, and despite no Russian background in my family and only 3 years of university courses, the results far exceeded my expectations for this short period of time. There is simply nothing negative to say about this school – it is run efficiently and professionally, the prices are fair, and they make learning a new language easy and enjoyable. The eclectic group of teachers are all extremely talented in what they do, provide interesting and enjoyable topics for discussion during the lessons, and most of all truly seem to enjoy working with the students, and take genuine interest in their progress. If you are searching for a place to learn Russian quickly, enjoy it along the way, and feel like you have a home away from home in St. Petersburg, then Extra Class is definitely the place to be.
